Generally scrap. Sometimes if you strip it to the dimensions you need you
can then bend the wood straight and it will stay that way. Usually the waves
are cause by stress in the wood (variations in density, cell structure,
etc). When you strip it down you may end up with pieces out of more
consistent areas so the stress is relieved by the stripping it away from the
other areas that are reacting different.
BTW, in my book there is only A, B, and C. Anything that is not fully A or C
is just plain old nothing special B.
