Since A-6 has a 1.2 gram min weight. What is the purpose of the 1/16" sq
min size rule anyhow? They still have to weigh 1.2 grams. I remember
models before the min weight rule were about .8 grams (since min wood
sizes must be used). All it seems to be doing is make a difficult rules
interpretation grey area. I read the rules now to say any shape LE or
TE may be used provided its cross section has a 1/16 x 1/16 sq portion.
Do CD's actually measure people spars? Do you need to provide a spar
cross sectional drawing if other than 1/16" sq?
