I'm sorry to say that I can't make it to USIC this year. Due to
medical problems I didn't make it to Buffalo either. Maybe I'll get to
Lakehurst on July 4. In any case...

Having never been to JC I have a couple of questions. Is it hot
inside?
The heating/cooling system is turned off. If it is hot outside, then
it will get hot inside. The same is true for the humidity. If it's
humid outside it will get humid inside. While having it cool outside
makes it more comfortable, the air is generally better as the day
warms up.
I was happy that the room where I was staying was air conditioned, so
for me it was warm but not particularly uncomfortable.
Will there been any concessions or do we need to bring stuff to eat
and drink or do most go out. Sounds like I'm going to the beach.
Nothing for sale on the site. It's a college town so there are the
usual collection of fast food places, convenience and grocery stores,
and restaurants and diners. Some folks get together for dinner after
they finish flying.
Is it neccecary to bring hand trucks to bring your stuff in or is
there access to a door to unload.
You may be able to borrow a hand truck. I think that most folks make
multiple trips to carry all of the stuff that they have into the
dome. Ray Harlan has a nifty lightweight folding hand-truck that works
great. I keep meaning to order one of them...
Have a blast at USIC. It's a great event.
