Hey Barry,
Its generally about 20* warmer inside than out. A few years back it stayed
rainy and in the 50s all week and about 75* inside. So I'd think you'll be
warm enough. There have not been any vendors selling concessions in years
past. I've always tryed to make a Walmart run to get some drinks and snack
stuff the night before the contest. I think this holds true for most people.
Also, at the end of the day we do typically go out for food, though that can
be as late as mid-night sometimes. So plenty of snack stuff is a good idea.
You probably won't find your self stopping food that much anyway, but just
in case. because there is just too much other stuff to do. As for bringing
stuff in, There's not a terribly good way to get stuff in or out of USIC, so
some carts or hand trucks would probably be very helpful to you. On a
construction note prior experience has taught me that eating greasy foods
such as Cheeto's and pizza while flying is a great way to add blast to your
models.:-P
