Just an update on the top 6 Wright Stuff at Ohio State
1st place: Mayfield
2nd place: Northmont
3rd place: Glen Oak
4th place: Chardon
5th place: Mentor
6th place: Perry

There were 37 participating teams.

And I find this very interesting ...there were 15 Div B (MS) BLG
participants and 16 Division C (HS) participants.
As far as I know Ohio was the only state that had a Div C BLG
competition. I'm surprised there were more High School
students...but then again...many of them already have the building
skills as well as the supplies needed on hand.

One of the boys from the Solon HS BLG team told us "I could learn to
love the BLG." For the most part I think even the older kids even
enjoyed themselves. It was just another flying challenge for them.

I think we just need them to get the kids more involved with the
other "Indoor" planes and gliders. I was talking up Tenn.
Saturday. ;)
