I don't quite understand your question. I believe
for low ceilings (below 50 ft) a flapper as an
advantage. Typically the flap part of the wing is the
back half of the wing. No carbon fiber is used on the
back half, you want this portion of the wing to be
flexible. You want to use A-gain for the flap that
should be very flexible in the vertical direction.
Most flaps are made thin so thin that you can almost
see through that portion of the wing. The carbon on
the wing is on the front half of the wing, the part
that is not intended to flap or bend.
