Hi Izgo:
Most fliers build props with the blades set at 45
deg. Charlie Styles who has flown for about 60 years
and is a good friend and flying buddy got me to build
my props at 32/34 degrees. The performance is mush
better for small planes as the A-6 and other in this
size range. He has built the peck ROG in about 50
different configuration and they all fly great. Some
with tissue others with condencer paper and some with
film, Some without wheels some with plug in tail
assemblies etc. Keep experimenting... Buiild the
same plane keeping records of weight of the parts and
watch your times improve. Many different blade shapes
from flat tips to full round and manny inbetween. He
still has a prop of his that he built in 1937... That
was the year I was born...
Good luck and thermals whereever you fly
