This may be off topic, but the glider posts here are kind of leading
to this, so Mark you can bust my chops if you feel this is outside
the lines of this board.
It seems Kent is getting good "buzz" this year, which is great. This
is a fantastic site that as been on the brink of being cancelled in
the past due to low turnout. This year it seems the glider battle
will be in a Cat II building. Romash is in, Deloach is on the fence,
and I got a call from Zaluska and Goins on New Years Eve around 11:30
PM, that had something to do with glider I think:) They are both
planning on being there for it. Gowen is in as well.
The ceiling is the way Mark described it. I will put a couple shots
of the building in the photos section.
For the pure construction portion of this law-abiding post:
3.1 grams is what the standard cat glider I used to set the record
there in 2004 weighs.
This building has had some great air in years past. If the
conditions are good this year, records will probably fall. Someone
needs to go after the F1N record.
