Balloon launch glider at USIC

We are in the design stage of the USIC shedual and BLG will be on the
event list for the glider time slot. I was thinking of a new design
criteria allowing built up construction with a 16inch span and 1 gram
minimum weight. I think this will allow for a closer competition then
the all balsa format yet still give plenty of creative choices.
 Launch will be from a set height, now is the time for suggestions on
this event. I would also like voluteers for time slot duties please
