Aki san, I second your congratulations to Brett, and found this description of the Andrei Tupolev Medal on FAI website.
"The medal was established in 1989. It may be awarded annually on recommendation by the FAI Aeromodelling Commission to any aeromodeller who in the same year won the World and National Aeromodelling Championships in the same class of models. It is donated annually by the NAC of Russia."
