If you can find 5/99, the going rate is at least $ 1.00 per gram. 1lbs of
that rubber is roughly $ 450.00.
Then you need to have the skill to wind it to optimal use, which is quite a
skill.
You better spend the money on good tools and building material than that
elusive rubber. We even do not know how much longer that 20-year-old rubber
is going to be good.
