Roy White's PPP film weighs about 2.1g per m^2. This film is the equivalent of Ray Harlan's Ultrafilm. Ray sells his Ultra film for $9.00 for a ten foot roll ($0.90 per foot). This film is also about the same as Polymicro film and the A2Z labeled film sold by A2Z.

Gene Joshu also sold film labeled as PPP film. Gene's PPP film weighs about 1.1g per m^2 and is the equivalent to Ray's Super Ultrafilm. Gene's PPP film will be in tubes that are labeled with Gene's Illinois address. The tubes from Gene often have Y2K labels with PPP written over the label or elsewhere on the tube.

To give a comparison to the lighter film used for the higher performance indoor models, OS film weighs about 0.8g per m^2, just a bit more than the later Y2K film. The very best Y2K2 comes in at about 0.55g per m^2 while the earlier Y2K film is any from 0.65g to 0.70g per m^2. Most people today use OS film for indoor models including LPP and A6. Some, like me, use Super Ultrafilm and Gene's PPP film for LPP. I have the SO students use Ultra film and Ray White's PPP film on there SO Wright Stuff models.
