I wanted to thank all who emailed and called their district VPs in regards to this manner. As a result, the Executive Council will take another look at their decision at their July 14th meeting.

I know there are several contest occurring during this time frame, Kibbie Dome , Lakehurst, and in Georgia, and FAI records are a possibility. If you do set a nationak record in FAI events, make multiple copies of your record forms and if set before July 1st I would say still mail it in to the AMA.

I do not know if their decision will be reversed or if a new policy will happen July 14th but I have asked for a delay or extension of implementation until the July 14th meeting because of the number of indoor contests coming up the new few weeks. So far no response to that request.

I will keep you all posted.
