An interesting situation has come up. Mikhail Yashinskiy makes high performance F1N gliders and kits that are used all around Eastern Europe. Mitsuro Ishii builds and flies gliders in Japan and holds two F1N World Records. Mr. Yashinskiy has sent gliders to me and to Mr. Ishii. Mr. Ishii has sent gliders to me and to Mr. Yashinskiy.
So there are Russian gliders being flown in Japan and Japanese gliders being flown in Russia. And at the Kent State contest at the end of this month I will be flying Russian, Japanese and American (mine) gliders. I can hardly wait!
