Rubber testing

Hi,
 as it was evident at the WC in Westbaden, the quality of rubber is paramount.
 We know so far that May 99 has the best energy output.
 In the past, there were articles describing how to test them. I just wonder if you guys still using those methods, or do we have something new.
 I really like to test some rubber batches I have to know how good or bad they are.
