To get the best functioning QR valve I had to get the parts from 2 different suppliers.
The main part is called a union and comes from MSC part # 06584155. The plug comes from McMaster Carr part # 51055 K81
The McMaster union often required pliers to get the plug out. The MSC plug is flat sided on the part you grip and much easier to handle and work with.
I played with lots of these in different combinations and the above combo is the only one I felt comfortable supplying.
