I never saw a confirmation that this question was received, so I am re-sending it. Sorry if it is a duplicate.
I would think such as statement would minimize arguments at the event, if it is their intention to enforce it. If they do not intend to enforce it, statement to that effect might also be a good idea.

Have the organizers/officials responsible for enforcing the BOM rule at the WC made any statement indicating their intentions to enforce the BOM rule as it applies to VP mechanisms?
