Thanks for clarifying Leo. Your initial reply to Aki made it sound like the jury was already scheduled to consider this, which would have been dramatic news.

 While "prior usage" is a potential argument for a rule change proposal, I don't agree that it is relevant for a rule interpretation consideration. The only thing that matters is if it is decided that a VP hub is something that is built or not.

It could be said that Leo and others have looked away while purchased VP hubs have been used, and while that is not technically incorrect, I don't think it captures the gist of the situation. I have heard lots of discussion for a long time, but it really isn't clear whose responsibility it is to do something about it. Is someone really going to file a protest at the world champs?

 This thread has emphasized the people using purchased to VP hubs who would be affected if they are not allowed, and that is certainly valid, but let's not forget that there are also people who don't use purchased VP hubs who are also affected by the opposite.

Quite a situation we have put ourselves in!
