I sent the following note to Tony Stillman. Please feel free to add your
own comments direct to Tony. His email is fsac_at_modelaircraft.org

*I don't understand how the two current rules change proposals were allowed
to be made. You have two general rule change proposals that if passed will
apply to everyone who flies in any kind of AMA competition.*

*Who gets to vote on General proposals? If a General proposal passes and
the IFF board votes the proposal down what happens then? It looks like the
author of the proposals is taking two shots at Indoor Freeflight at one
time.*

*Why are the proposals only copied for Outdoor Freeflight and Indoor
Freeflight? The general proposals don't specify that they only apply to
freeflight so if they are passed then EVERY AMA competition class is
affected and every contest board should be affected the same way.*

*Both of these proposals are aimed squarely at Indoor Freeflight by a
person who has for several years tried to either destroy Indoor Freeflight
or remake it in some way that he seems to prefer. In my opinion the wide
ranging negative effects of these proposals should have been a red flag to
the AMA and they should not have been allowed. I believe that it is in your
authority to determine whether a rules change proposal is valid. These two
proposals are clearly not worthy of a vote by the affected contest boards.*
