sells colloidal (or fumed) silica. Apparently it keeps knots from slipping when silicone lube gets into the knot. Haven't tried it myself, for one thing I don't use silica grease or oil (just Armor-all) and haven't had much trouble with slipping knots, but I do have a canister of it - it's usually used as an additive for epoxy to make it thicker and sold by West System as Number 406:
