The 7111 and 7000AS are a bit different in their inputs from the outside. Let me ask a couple of questions as I do not have one of your winders to examine. First, do you connect the reed switch to the low speed or high speed input on the 7111 (the 7000AS only has one count input, high speed)? Second, does your direction switch just connect the direction input to the common (ground) for down (reverse) counting and leave the direction input not connected for normal up counting?
