I like to repair with thinned wood glue and add a thin strip of basswood on the top of the spar. If it comes clean off, to keep the prop blade straight when it glues back together I put a very low tack piece of tape on the tip of the blade that did not break off and let the prop blade dangle off the table while it glues. You do have to hold the joint together for a few minutes for it to partially bond before you can let it dangle.
