After last year's saggy tissue, I decided to try something new. Painted Mylar.
I found a source of 2um mylar, about twice as thick as LPP film and used the floral spray paint to mist paint it.
The very first surface I covered I discovered it would scrape off with the covering iron, so the paint went inside.
Everything was attached with Balsaloc and the covering could be easily shrunk.

The original wing was removed and soaked in water until the Titebond joints dissolved. I reused nearly all the ribs. The wing tips were redone and a single 1K carbon tow was added to the outside to aid in toughness.
The wings slide on now, with a rubber band retainer in front. Struts just attach at the bottom.
The box was cut down and is now half the size as before and could likely be made smaller.

I still have not reweighed it, but will soon.

Enjoy!

Regards.
