Lakehurst Sanction for Labor Day

Hi All,


I have sanctioned Lakehurst for Labor Day weekend. This will be a AAA
contest and will be a great opportunity to set records. It’s been
sanctioned for all events, especially Autogyro (211). It appears that the
Cat III record for Autogyro is 21:41 while the Cat IV record stands at
20:36. I wonder what Don S. can do with an extra 80 feet at Lakehurst in
good air.


I’d also like to point out that the AMA cabin record (204) stands at 33:20
set by Bob Randolph in 1982 (35 years!). This is the oldest Open record on
the books.


We also plan to get a club World Record sanction for the Labor Day weekend.
