Joe,
I scored each event based on the number of entrants. If you won an event with 6 entrants, you got 6 points. Second place gets 5 points, and so on. Then everything across all events is added to create a final score. All of that is done automatically by the spreadsheet I created. I used those scores for the awards at the end of the contest.
