Hi

Dok Schneider a free-flight guy here in Norcal collects cauterizing units
at Kaiser Permanente before they are thrown out and he was just him to light fuse DTs and gives them to the other flyers

If you know doctors in your area you might ask them for the disposable cauterizing tools

I have one from that purchase, from Tom Sova.
The variable resistor portion seems to not function well anymore.
I did find a source of them, but requires me to purchase two cases of them.

I am half thinking of getting a DC-DC variable adjustment board to hook up to one so I can refine the voltage just right for cutting OS film at home. Just not entirely sure what amperage a AA cell puts out normally.
