Registration problem, help needed!

The young man I'm helping adjust his Science Olympiad tried to join this group. For some reason, he was rejected. His name is Jack Tian, and he used his mother's yahoo email account. Her last name is not the same as his. Would that have caused his problem? I'd really like him to have access to this group.

I'll be grateful for any help you can give. I don't know how to communicate with the list moderator, so had to try this. I apologize to the rest of the group for this waste of your time.
