ANALOG VS DIGITAL TORQUE METERS.
A digital gauge is more accurate then an analog one.
However it does not show a rate of change nearly as well.
Years ago when full scale aviation introduced digital instruments, it
was found you also had to have an analog presentation to enable the
pilot to sense changes.
I build Recording Torque meters. I display the result digitally, but
also port it to a PC where I have a real time plot running.
The rate of change in slope is much more instructive than flickering digits.
