The Bestine solution to any glueing need is extremely dangerous. Some years
ago a large group of people in an architectural office were killed when
they were using the technique to mount illustrations and a fire erupted.
Using it in any confined space that is not very well ventilated is really
scary. Even exhaust fans powered by sparking brushed motors have been known
to turn into giant blow torches as the fumes of the solvents are ignited.

If there are joints that require this type of glue it's best to limit its
use to smaller connections. One type of that sort is 3M plastic adhesive
that's provided in squeeze tubes of limited capacity. Its available
directly from 3M and a little goes a long way. My work with it has not
needed thinning and I have no information on that. My main use for it has
been for more solid joints that need a slight bit of flexibility or high
flexibility like hinges on RC foamies. It's not easy to handle because it's
aggressively sticky and quick drying.

The spray adhesives are relatively safe if they're used sparingly and
outside.
