Forgive my ignorance but what is this unique FAI number? Curious what the rationale is for a number versus the competitor's name?

Seems like it would be much easier to catch if the motor stick had a name on it versus a sequence of numbers.

Second point, the competitor should be responsible for writing the identifier. Make that clear. No chance then for damage by the Contest Director.
