For an F1D vp hub, 25 gmF-cm at full scale is about right. My F1D vp hub torque meter is about 22 gmF-cm at 360 deg (or about 21.5 milli-newton-meters). For an F1M vp, a higher full scale, like 50-60 gmF-cm is needed.
However, by going to a higher full scale value, some sensitivity at low torques is lost. So, just like torque meters for winding, one either compromises or builds different meters for different classes.
