Very Sad, it was a great flying site and I have some fond memories of the contests that were held there.

I just wanted to let everyone know I just received the revised rental rates and they have gone up from $1200 per day to $2200 per day or $275 per hour. Consequently there will no longer be any contest at the Kent State Fieldhouse. My faint hope is backlash from the huge price increase will get them to drop prices back down again but that is just a faint hope.
Many thanks to all who have supported the Kent contest over the past years. It is a good Cat II site and many records have been set there over the years.
