Rantoul Contest 10/1/2016-10/2/2016
Hi All,
I will be the Contest Director for the Bong Eagle's Indoor Contest being held on October 1st and October 2nd, 2016 in the Rantoul Hanger (approx 43 ft ceiling). I am trying to understand what might encourage participation and am interested in people's comments on what might get you to come to this contest. this weekend. We plan to hold the AMA events that people are interested in flying and possible supplemental events.
One supplement event suggested by Al Stone will be held on this weekend--> a Mini Air Race. The rules are below.
I was also thinking about holding some educational seminars. Is anyone interested in these? If so please let me know in what your interested in being presented. I will then try to get an experience modeler to make up the presentation and give it sometime during that weekend. Since my expertise is gliders I would be willing to do a presentation on gliders, if anyone is interested.
Please let me know what you would like. Any other supplement events? I am hoping to make this an educational and fun weekend and need your input.
Thanks,Kurt
