Just a guess, but I suppose it is possible some people might feel the same about their many existing A6's being made obsolete (not the same as illegal) by the effect of recent rules changes. I am not one of them, but I could not resist pointing out the irony of the over-reaction to what amounts to a single club sponsored postal contest.

I agree. Considering how many existing models are built with large tails and are covered with Mylar it doesn't seem logical to make all of them illegal. I for sure wouldn't build a new model for a postal.

With all the restrictions above and beyond the A6 rules, why would this be advertised or considered an A6?

I'd have to build a new model, just for this postal, then it wouldn't likely be competitive under AMA A6 rules.
So what to do with it after the postal? It isn't big enough to carry a cherry bomb...
