Yes and no.

My first motor was for my coconut. First knot was fine, the second one the rubber actually broke.
Weird. I used a lot more saliva the next time and it tied OK.

I decided this morning to play around with my new rubber stripper. After stripping quite a bit, I made up a bunch of motors for testing tomorrow. Not one of them had any chafing that I could see with my reading glasses. (+2.5) The rubber seemed fine.

I have not tested this rubber for torque, max winds or durability. I have heard that June 2016 is the best batch of TSS so far, but if it is like recent batches, it will have significantly more total energy than the best indoor batches, but most of it will be in the upper range rather than in the cruising range that is so important for indoor. In higher temperatures it might be a better choice than 5/99 as it tends to break.

Regards.
