Don. I'm assuming IMS is this contest class from the AMA Rulebook
 

 "Intermediate Hand-Launched Stick Model (Event 202)
 

 The projected area of the supporting surface(s) shall not exceed 100 square inches; "
 

 This is a bit smaller than Bill Carney's P-18 Cruiser, which has a wing about 81 square inches and a stab of about 32 square inches, if you say that the stab is a supporting surface.
 

  We need to hear from the record holder on the specs of his plane.
