My memory is suspect, but once upon a time, P-30 rules permitted a range 
of prop diameters and specified what modifications were legal. Do the 
P-30 prop rules provide a template for P-18 prop rules, or merely add 
confusion?
Yes, I favor 6-in rather than 5.5-in diameter limit, but 6.5=in is 
acceptable.
