On the AMA website, if you Google Contest board procedures, the second entry is the document, dated 2011 which has a page in the back for rules change cycle schedule for even years. It says May 31 - July 15 accept cross proposals.
Is there a newer contest board procedure? If so, why isn't it higher in the list?
On different actual sizes of 6" props, I would tend to say that if the seller says they are 6", that should be good enough for a beginner event. We don't need to go down the path of SO with nit picking. I've heard of SO Nationals participants being disqualified for because their names and schools weren't on the bottle rocket, rather than handing the kid a pen to accomplish the task.
It won't take long for the indoor world to sort out which prop is best. I'd just like to give fliers a choice to get started.
