The 6" prop assembly is Midwest. They had an issue of a production run with prop blades snapping before I worked with them. Their fix was to beef up the prop hub and use a softer wire. I did some analysis and found that the plastic composition was changed by the injection molder. Turns out brittle plastic cost less and so was never changed. The black props are domestic. The later 5-1/2" red props were produced in China. These had softer plastic and harder wires to better duplicate the NP prop samples that I had supplied.
