Manhattan cabin

Dear All
Has a lifting body manhattan ever been attempted? In such a case would area of fuse where the wing or stab cross the fuseladge be counted as wing or stab area? The wing and stab set on pylons along with a wide lifting fuse might give some advantage?
Happy and eager to hear thought on this design idea.
