> Fellows, some bad news. As you know, due to the flood last summer, the floor area of the Dome was badly damaged. I received a call from Daniel, the Dome manager, this morning. He and the School Superintendent had a discussion about our situation. Because of delays due to insurance, contractors for the cleanup, and the contractor that will install the new rubber floor, the Dome will not be completed until sometime in June. We will not be able to use the Dome for our contest. The school district will not be able to use the facility for graduation, also the annual auto show has been cancelled. The Dome is not usable for indoor flying in the summer as the vents in the roof have to be open, resulting in fairly strong air currents. Things do not cool off until late September, and once the football season starts, the Dome is well utilized. Steve Riley and I will be exploring possibilities, but the outlook is now bleak for this year. Tom Gaylor
