There are four motels in Rantoul:

Driving by Rantoul Motel, I wouldn't stay there.
I've stayed at the Magnuson. It was fine for me, a cheap place to spend the night.
Jeff stayed at the Super 8 and reported that it was also decent.
I've not been to the Days Inn.
Now that said, 15 minutes away there are probably a dozen hotels on the north side of Champaign/Urbana.
They also are mostly reasonably priced and decent. I haven't stayed at any down there that I wouldn't stay at again.
There is a camp ground in Rantoul. I've read it isn't tent friendly, just RVs.
