Try thinned white glue or other aliphatic resin when gluing prop blades.  It doesn't shrink.
The Beacon 527 shrinks less than Ambroid and it's good for building structures.  Wood joints as when joining a rib to a spar won't distort even after several years.
I think I saw a test where someone had applied glue to 0.005 balsa sheet.  If memory serves, Ambroid curled it badly.  Duco less, and 527 (which I think has TCP in it) least of all.

FWIW, the newer Ambroid from Swanzey, NH seems to shrink considerably more than the stuff made in NJ.
I guess I'd call it New Old Stock versus Old Old Stock. {grin}

I had a devil of a time with a prop last night because in 24 hours the blades had moved from 44 degrees dead on to 39/52 respectively. A drop or two of TCP might be in order when doing prop blade attachment.

I never had this issue using older tubes of NJ/OOS Ambroid.
