MASH-UP one design questions

I'm going to show my indoor building experience level here, which is nil.... I'm considering building a MASH-UP, but have some questions. I've built lots of other models, but not really light ones.

Boom attachment: The plan shows the boom gets attached to the end of the motorstick. In my experience, butt glued joints are very weak. Is that how the tail boom is attached, with some secret method or adhesive? Or, does it extend forward a bit and get glued onto or into the motorstick?

Minimum weight of two grams: Is that the complete airframe, with prop, but without rubber?

Decalage: the wing and tail are drawn with their spars parallel the top of the motor stick, as is they were mounted at the same angle of attack. I think in real life, the leading edge of the wing would be raised, at least a little bit, for pitch stability?

Center of Gravity: Given the long tail moment, forward approximate wing location, and lifting stab airfoil, I think the best CG location would be somewhere between 50% of the wing's chord and the trailing edge. Where would you set it to start?

Motor: Is there no limit on motor weight? I suppose that's limited by the distance between the hooks and maximum trimmable torque?

Strength and configuration: Given the wing is elevated, there might still be some torque in the motor, and there is no landing gear, I expect the plane to rest on the prop hanger or prop, the aft end of the boom, and one stab tip. Won't that put a lot of stress on the stab? Seems to me, it might break under that load. Waddya think?

Thanks in advance for sharing your insights and advice!
