World Champs Romania 2016 Fire Certificate

Dear All
 Can anyone please throw some sense of certainty as to whether the World Champs will be definitely held this year on the dates quoted?.. It has been suggested that the mine is closed for fire safety reasons... is this true? Will it reopen? As a member of the GBR Team about to pay out large sums for flights, hotel, car hire etc. I would like to know ASAP.
 This is not a moan nor a complaint, just trying to find out the facts.
