I see my announcement has elicited a number of comments. Yes, you can find carbon steel single-edged blades, but they generally are thicker, about .009". There are lots of "carbon steel double-edged razor blades" on eBay and other Googled sites, but none that I have found will break cleanly and they are only .003-.004" thick. No stainless blades will break cleanly.
