I recently heard from Aurel Popa about this contest in Slanic. Many of the Europeans teams are interested in coming, including Hungarian, Ukrainian, British, Czech/Slovak.

 For those in the U.S. and Canada who haven't been, it is highly recommended. The Romanians are great hosts. In-country costs are very low, less than $50 per day. From the East Coast, tickets are around $900.
 

 This is a 4-day contest, so you will get plenty of time in the mine and fly to your heart's content.
