I'm still trying to wrap my head around how he got such a short model with such a small rudder to handle a full torque launch with the largest prop I've ever seen used on a 55 cm F1D. Also, the torque from the motor must have easily been better than .5 in-oz--how does he get that light motorstick to handle it?
The Instant NP formula shows .704% static margin, while Hunt's formula puts it *firmly* in the negative.
Anybody have any thoughts on the matter? It's an impressive performance, but seems a great achievement just to keep a model like that in the air.
