I want to use the same small, lightweight model box at home and while I travel. I don't want a big, rugged, or heavy box.

I want to bring my models on board the plane where I can guarantee its safety. It is always safer to carry it on board. It will never be lost when it's with me.

There is more than enough space in the box for all the parts I need.

I already have 1 full checked-in bag for my tools and clothes. I would have to check in a second luggage for my models.

When I travel, everything I need at a contest is with me, namely my models, winder, torque meter, rubber. If my luggage is lost, it would be very inconvenient. However, I can still fly competitively at a contest with equipment borrowed from others.
