Let me add one additional twist on this debate: unless we improve the indoor community's representation in the CIAM decision process, the discussion we are having here doesn't mean much. Andras has suggested where he stands on the issue, and as we have experienced with the last two F1D rule changes, the rest of the FAI decision makers rely primarily on his input.

Regardless of where you fall on the BOM topic, I suggest it would be in our collective best interest to have more of a voice in the process.
